The 15-mile hike this weekend was not as bad as I feared, and I wasn’t very sore, which was awesome. We’re only about 4 weeks out from the Rim to Rim hike, so we’re both getting nervous, but we’re keeping up with our training (we think).

I have not been eating well lately. Too much junk and stuff I shouldn’t be eating. I’ve been busy, stressed, and emotional, all of which lead to crappy eating, but I need to get this under control. Especially after school gets out and I have almost four months of less stress to get the rest of my life together.

Two priorities this summer:  lots of writing, and getting healthy. Now all I need is some moral support.
