This week has been better than last week, I have to admit. No craziness at the new job. Just five days of drama-free work/training/learning. To be honest, the switch from working three days a week of 10-12 hour-days to five 6-8 hour-days is exhausting. Which is ridiculous, because the days are shorter, and I’m not doing a whole lot, so they should be easier, right? Nope. I come home even more exhausted than before. Ridiculous. I’m working on it.

Healthy eating was….questionable this week. I did better, but not great. That’s about the best I can say. Oh. I did do one cardio session and two strength training sessions this week, so there’s that. When it’s not still 95 degrees outside at 3 or 4 p.m., I’m going to try to hit the trails for a walk on my way home from work. That’s the plan, anyway.

Plan for this week:  keep trying. That’s all I’ve got.
