Linking up with Meghan over at Clean Eats, Fast Feets for this one.
Not sure what I accomplished this week, to be honest. Let’s see.
I ate a lot of salad (which I forgot to take pictures of).
Cooked zoodles with veggies and spaghetti sauce. Going meatless for the day, apparently, and possibly most of the week. NBD, as long as I still have cheese.
Drank gallons of water, because the AC was out at work and there is a lot of running-around at my job. Seriously, last Wednesday it was 80 degrees at 5 a.m. inside the building, with no lights or machines on yet, and no people there. Longest day ever.
Hang on, I completed my first week of healthy eating/training for a 5k, and lost 5.8 lbs! (Conveniently eliminating any pounds I might have picked up over vacation before they could make themselves at home.)
Started a running blog: The Lazy Runner Girl. Definitely a work in progress, because I’m not sure where I’m going with it yet.
Hit the gym twice and the trails once for a total of three workouts.
No pic of the ninja-move-inducing spiderweb, or the rabbit that I’m pretty sure thought we were chasing it…
Got some writing in, quite a bit of reading, and watched four episodes of Rizzoli & Isles.
That’s about it for the week.
80 degrees inside at 5 am!! Oh man, that would have been awful. We had some hot ones on vacation this week and I could barely stand it. Congrats on the running and the weight loss. You are kicking ass, maybe quite literally with those ninja moves.
I barely read at all on vacation (hello counter intuitive) so I’m excited to be back home and get back to my book.
…and when the AC repair guy showed up, he got more attention than a celebrity. It took them 4 weeks, but it’s fixed now. Enjoy your reading!
