The camera on my phone would not work to take a picture of the treadmill display at the gym today, but I ran 2.39 miles today.
The plan was to do my regular interval workout (5 minutes running + 2 minutes walking x 4, plus a 5-minute warm-up and cool-down). This week is supposed to be at 5.2 mph.
What actually happened was this:
5-minute warm-up (half at 2.5 mph, half at 3 mph, incline at .5%).
5-minute run at 5.2 mph and .5% incline.
2-minute-walk at 3.0 mph and 0 incline.
2 1/2 minutes running at 5.2 mph.
2 1/2 minutes running at 5 mph.
2 minutes walking.
5 minutes running at 5.0 mph.
2 minutes walking.
1 minute running at 5.2 mph/1 minute walking/1 minute running at 5.2 mph/1 minute walking/1 minute running at 5.2 mph.
5-minute cool-down.
I’m so not ready for that 5.2 mph. Not yet.
Onward and upward.
