No workout today. Again. That’s two I skipped this week. No bueno. But there’s always next week.
In other news, as of this week, I’ve lost 20 pounds, so yay! Not only that, but I’m officially not classified as obese anymore (with a BMI of29.9). It’s the little things that keep me happy on my way to better health.
Yesterday’s workout did not go quite as planned. The BFF and I planned to follow Week 9 of the 10k training plan, which consisted of 4 x 10-minute intervals of running separated by 1-minute walking intervals.
That is not what happened. The humidity was almost at 95%, even at 7:30 a.m., and we were both struggling a lot, so we ran when we could, and walked when we needed to. Fall…comes late to Texas.
It wasn’t a great workout, but it was a workout, and we did it and listened to our bodies, which is totally okay.
