Fourteen weeks in, and I’ve lost 25 pounds! I’m pretty pleased with that. Hopefully, next week, I’ll hit 27.5 pounds, which is the halfway point to my goal.
Some weeks, I haven’t lost anything, or I’ve gained a bit back. Some weeks I’ve lost less than half a pound. But all the hard work has added up and paid off.
You know what the best part is? Going shopping in my own closet. Being able to wear clothes I haven’t fit into in 4 years or so. Noticing the muscle definition in my legs from all the running. Feeling better, and knowing I’m healthier. (Okay, so that’s multiple “best parts.”)
Too bad I skipped the gym today. But I did strength training, so that’s something.
Onward and upward!
