Linking up with Meghan at Clean Eats, Fast Feets for the blogroll.
So, this was finals week for my Writing Commercial Fiction class. That kept me pretty occupied. I had a 3,000-word short story to finish revising and submit, plus the discussion boards were due earlier than normal. Just waiting on my grades now.
I’m bad at writing short stories, but I learned quite a bit in this class, and I enjoyed it very much. I also–because of this class–decided to do NaNo this year for the first time in 4 years. (Because school, work, and training for a 10k did not fill quite enough of my time.) Nope.
I cooked tikki masala this week (No pics, because I’m a slacker.). Fixed a couple of salads, the only one of which I took a picture was the plainest one:

Did the usual paying bills/buying groceries/payday week routine.
Got in 3 workouts this week.
Hit 25 pounds lost.
Did some reading, including stopped reading Wonder Women by Sam Maggs. I was really looking forward to reading this. The info about the women themselves was great and fascinating. The author’s side comments…not so much. If I want to read blatantly biased remarks, I’ll stick to the major news channels, thankyouverymuch. Started reading The Saint Louisans by Steven Clark, and I’m enjoying it immensely.
I’m off to read more and make this healthy sweet and sour chicken.
Yeah, you have way too much free time so I think you should absolutely add to your proverbial plate. Snort.
I love blue cheese. I could eat it on anything…almost anything.
Congrats on another great week.
