Obviously, I didn’t have enough time to update my workouts this week. I did end up going for a run last Sunday afternoon. Outside, on the trails, in the heat. Not fun.
My plan stepped up my distance to 3.5 miles this week, at a relatively easy pace. (I think I did most of this workout at a 4.5mph pace, then did the last quarter at 4.7 mph and 5 mph.) After my body stopped protesting about halfway through, the rest wasn’t bad at all.
I’m pretty sure I set the treadmill wrong on Thursday. This is the only thing I can think of to explain the difference in calories burned from Tuesday. Same 3-mile run, albeit at a slightly slower pace (4.2 mph), plus some extra walking at the end, because the BFF and I started hitting the gym before she goes to work on T/Th, and doing weights before we run, and she had a slightly longer run than I did.
