Yesterday afternoon, my hip pain came back with a vengeance: a deep, angry throbbing in the muscles of my right upper thigh. After a hot bath, I put the heating pad on it for a while and finally went to sleep about midnight.
When I woke up this morning, it had faded to a dull ache. I almost got on the treadmill, but a memory of being unable to run for three months stopped me.
So, no workouts until net week. I’ll use that time to stretch and design a better strength-training plan that will focus on strengthening my leg and hip muscles.
Does anyone have any exercise suggestions?
