Linking up with Meghan over at Clean Eats, Fast Feets, so I can feel like I accomplished something last week.
I DID accomplish some things last week, despite the lack of pictures. Promise.
Worked two decent days at the day job, + a moderately brutal Friday where we started two hours late due to a minor disaster in the water room…Fun times. Didn’t accomplish half of what I wanted to that day, so I surrendered and went home early (where “early” = “I left at 3:30, after an 11-hour-day with almost 14,000 steps taken”).
I made the entire PowerPoint for my project in class last Tuesday, then revised it and my paper on Thursday, and turned both in…3 days early. This week, I just have discussion boards to do, and class is over on Friday, so I get about a 6-week break. Yay!
Posted this recipe for Pasta-less “Pasta” Salad.
Read and reviewed Part of the Silence and Murder on Black Swan Lake. Also read Girl on the Verge (review forthcoming) and All the Feels: All’s Fair in Love and Fandom (Read both of these–ALL of them–in the same day.)
Slept in ridiculously late–for me–both Saturday and Sunday. #totallyexhausted
Saw Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Thought it was funny, but pretty predictable. I do like the whole set-up, though, which gives it some leeway.
That’s about it for me.
Onward and upwards.
Please teach me your speedy book reading skills. I can cruse through maybe one short book in a day, but I have to seriously commit. Your break from class sounds well deserved. Also, I’m all about zoodles right now. The recipe looks delish.
I’ve always been a fast reader. Apparently, I look at the sentence as a whole, instead of at individual words. And zoodles are awesome!
Mmmmm that pasta-less salad looks delicious, I love zucchini noodles. And dang 14,000 steps, that’s quite the work day!
My Hubby is obsessed with Guardians of the Galaxy. I know he’s going to want to see it, and meanwhile I want to see Wonder Woman.
Also I feel ya on the exhaustion. Unfortunately my wake up calls come at 5:45 ish every morning. I can’t get the kid to sleep past that. Sigh.
