This week, I’m pleased to say that I hit 3 out of 4 of my planned cardio workouts, and all four of my strength training sessions! I wasn’t doing anything crazy—pretty low-key—but it feels good to have achieved some consistency this week.
Here’s what the week looked like:
Monday: Worked 14 hours, 12,583 steps (5.96 miles).
Tuesday: Ran 1 mile, plus arms strength session.
Wednesday: Got up 30 minutes early (at 2:30 a.m.), to do a short legs/core strength training, then worked about 13 1/2 hours for 9.867 steps (4.67 miles).
Thursday: A repeat of Tuesday’s 1 mile run, plus arms.
Friday: Repeat of Wednesday’s arms/core session, then worked a short 11 1/2 hour day for 9.502 steps (4.5 miles).
Saturday: Had a 2-hour hike planned with a friend, but it started pouring that morning, so that didn’t happen.
Sunday: Ran 2 miles.
Onward and upward.
