Linking up with Meghan at Clean Eats, Fast Feets for the Week in Review.
In all honesty, I’m in about the same boat as Meghan is, as far as desire to spend time on the computer. (I, however, do not have amusing toddler videos to post.)
So, I’m going to keep this very short.
My grandmother passed at 2:34 a.m. on July 5th. We knew it was coming, and we knew she was ready, but that doesn’t make it easier. My grandmother was an amazing, lovely woman, and she will be very much missed. The last thing she said to me, several weeks ago, was “I love you, too,” and, if you knew her, you’d know how appropriate that was, as she showed love everywhere she went.
I love you, Nanny. I’ll see you later.
Some of the flowers from her funeral, and a hat, gloves, and string of pearls of hers. She wore her pearls every single day, and we ALL wore pearls at her funeral. Including my brothers and cousins—all men—who were her pallbearers, and my dad, who somehow managed to speak at his mother’s funeral.
I’m so sorry. I’m sending all the hugs and love, and I think your pearl tribute to your grandmother is beautiful.
Thank you.
