week in review: tired part 2

This’ll be short and sweet, because I just finished up a 16-mile hike, and I’m tired.


This week, I worked 3 full days at the day job.

Finished all my assignments for my current class, and started reading for one of my fall classes.

Reviewed a couple of books, including Someone I Used to Know, which was fantastic!

Made egg loaf (blueberry) for the first time. Y’all, this tasted like French toast, I swear.

Except, you know, low carb.


Went out for sushi and coconut ice cream as fueling before our 16-mile hike on Sunday.


Seven weeks until the Grand Canyon! It rained most of Friday and Saturday, but it held off long enough on Sunday for us to finish our hike. And the temp was a wonderful, refreshing 80 degrees!

That’s it for me this week.
