I haven’t been doing much except work and school, getting a bit ahead for my trip next week.

Less than 2 weeks until the Grand Canyon hike! Apparently it’s still almost 100 degrees at the bottom of the canyon. It’s usually a bit cooler by now. 😦

Last weekend, I skipped working out. This weekend, it rained ALL weekend, so I was stuck with the treadmill. 12 miles on Saturday, and 5 on Sunday. It’s time to taper, right?

I worked 3 1/2 days this week, most of it on the floor doing patient care.

Lots of school stuff, with 2 vacations in the next 4 weeks to work around.

I reviewed Confessions of a Teenage Leper, I Do Not Trust You, Warfare, Things I’d Rather Do Than Die, and The Lantern’s Ember. I also finished reading My Antonia and The Storyteller’s Secret, which was fantastic!

Today (Sunday), would have been my grandmother’s 91st birthday.

I miss her. Happy first heavenly birthday, Nanny!
