week in review: a bit of jogging, a lot of reading

Linking up with Meghan at Clean Eats Fast Feets for the week in review.

Even I’m getting bored with these weeks.

Work:  lots of stuff going on at work. Craziness as usual + my computer somehow lost my entire profile last weekend, and I. T. still has not been able to get all my stuff back. Not. Happy.

School: Finished the draft of one paper and half of another. For the most part, that + another paper is all that’s left for the semester, plus a couple of odd assignments.

I only left my apartment for church and dinner with The Saint last weekend. It was lovely. Tomorrow (Sunday), we’re going to meet for the late service (12:45) then a viewing of The Crimes of Grindelwald, and Night of Worship at church. I’m definitely looking forward to it.

The last time I ran/jogged was probably 8 months or so ago, apart from one workout about 3 weeks ago where I did 2-minute jogging intervals. Thursday, I jogged 14 straight minutes, and today 15 minutes! It’s not much, and it was slow, but I’m happy about it.

Books I Read: The Ministry of Ordinary Places, Shadow of the Fox, The Witch of Willow Hall, When the Lights Go Out, and Pride (which was fantastic!).

Book Reviews: The Ministry of Ordinary Places, Shadow of the Fox, and The Witch of Willow Hall.

  1. You have a lot on your plate! So glad to hear that you’re starting to run again. I need to give my family some gift ideas for Christmas and my upcoming birthday. I’m going to check out some books from your list to give out as suggestions. Thanks!
