Linking up with Meghan at Clean Eats Fast Feets for the week in review. I’ve been MIA for a while. Like, since mid-November. I just got bored with the same-old “I worked, did homework, and read books” posts, so I stopped writing them. I’m planning to be a bit more active now, after my break.… Continue reading week in review: back…(from outer space)…
Yeah, so I haven’t blogged in like…I don’t know, almost two months, maybe? I was busy, but there wasn’t a lot going on, so it seemed kind of pointless to keep repeating: I worked, I did homework, I read, blah blah blah. So I stopped. But I’m trying to pick it back up again. Hopefully,… Continue reading update…
Linking up with Meghan at Clean Eats, Fast Feets for the Week in Review. It appears that I did not take ANY pictures this week, so instead, I’ll throw in random things I saw on Pinterest. You’re welcome. I worked about 47 hours last week, including an extra partial day on Thursday so the doc… Continue reading week in review: a whole lot of nothing
Happy Fourth of July! Freedom means we all get the chance to live our beliefs, even if others don’t believe the same thing. Thank you to all who fought for our freedom, because we wouldn’t be here without you. Like my grandfather, who fought in WWII and was there for D-Day. He’s been gone for… Continue reading let freedom ring!
I hope everyone has a Happy Valentine’s Day, whether you have a Valentine or not. Love yourself. Eat chocolate. Be happy. Love is important, and loving yourself is near the top of the list.
Linking up with Meghan over at Clean Eats, Fast Feets today. So, I spent July 4th weekend and half of last week in New Orleans visiting my family. Baby Brother went with me, and we had a good–if sweltering–time. And I took lots of pics, for a change! I was greeted with this smiling face… Continue reading week in review: the big easy
The last few weeks have been kind of tough for me. Here’s a few things that have been on my mind lately, all from Pictures found on Pinterest.
I’ve spent the past three hours going through boxes that have been in storage for years, as well as sorting through the contents of one bookshelf and deciding what to keep. Don’t worry, I’m not throwing any books away. I will, however, be taking a lot of them to Half Price Books. They’ll buy some… Continue reading downsizing
…or “paper,” as Baby Brother says. (Trust me, you can just about see the air quotes when he says it. I don’t know why he even bothers to react to anything I do. He’s never going to understand me.) Anyway. So, as a former environmental biology major, you’d assume that recycling was pretty important to… Continue reading making paper
Being an adult is hard sometimes. Wouldn’t it be so much easier if someone else was responsible for cooking, cleaning, and making decisions? I think so. I’d happily give up the whole cooking/cleaning thing in a heartbeat. Then maybe I could focus more on decision-making…and perhaps I’d be less inclined to grab fast food… Continue reading adulting
